Hi, I’m Kade

Your VP Activity for 2025/26. Welcome to Team Surrey!

I’m Kade De Gannes, your VP Activity for 2025/26. I’m passionate about making sure every student at Surrey feels connected, included, and empowered through clubs, societies, and activities that celebrate our diversity and bring us together.

This year, my focus is on building bridges between sports clubs and societies, strengthening support networks, and celebrating cultural and creative communities. I want our campus to be a place where every student, no matter their background, can find their space to belong, thrive and lead.

I’m also proud to be leading the Black Sport Collective project, a space designed to uplift and bring together Black student-athletes and community members. Through this initiative, we’ll build visibility, connection, and representation in sport at Surrey.
